Barranco Tour Ayagaures - Arteara

From San Fernando we drive on asphalt 8 km to the dam lake Ayagaures. After the dam a dirt road rises steeply to the Degollada Ancha. Now it goes up- and downhill through several small barrancos. After about 27 km, the track ends in Arteara. Here is one of the largest burial sites of the natives of Gran Canaria. Then we come to the GC 60. At the Mirador Degollada De Las Yuegas we have a dizzying view over the Barranco de Fataga. If we want we can make a detour to the beach in Maspalomas.

Tour Mogán - Beach Veneguera

We start on the asphalt road who is surrounded by spectacular rocks. After around 7 km we come to the old windmill „Molino de Viento“. After we‘ve left the picturesque village of Mogán, the GC 200 brings us a last climb. We drive on a dirt road through the Barranco de Veneguera. Then we arrive the beach of Veneguera. Here we have us deserve a refreshing dip in the Atlantic. On the way back it is necessary to overcome the mountains which separate the Barrancos of Veneguera and Mogan.

We drive by car from Puerto de Mogan through the Barranco de Arguineguín to the reservoir of Soria. From the highest dam in Gran Canaria there are breathtaking views into the Barranco. Then we cross the Pass de Tauro. At the dam lake Presa las Niñas we make a picnic. The pleasantly tempered and clear freshwater is perfect for a bathe. After that it goes with the bikes nearly 1,000 meters down in the deep of the Barranco de Mogán. After about 21 km we arrive back Puerto de Mogan.
